Monongalia County Commission Special Election to Authorize Additional Levy
Election to authorize a levy for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030 for the purpose of contributing funds from such levy for emergency medical services for the acquisition of equipment and other capital improvements, payment of a portion of general operating, maintenance, and other expense in the amount of approximately $5,345,131 annually and $21,380,524 during the term of the Levy. The need for such funding has been determined by the Order of the County Commission of Monongalia County, West Virginia entered on the 19th day of August 2026.The additional levy for each on hundred dollars assessed valuation of property for each of the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2027, July 1, 2028, July 1, 2029, July 1 2030, shall be: Class I properties: 2.40 centsClass II properties: 4.80 centsClass III properties: 9.60 centsClass IV properties: 9.60 cents
