Shall the City of Pflugerville City Charter be amended to allow City Council to appoint residents of the city's ETJ as non-voting advisory participants on city boards and commissions?
Pflugerville's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) includes areas outside the city limits where the City has some authority. Proposition I would allow the City Council to appoint ETJ residents as non-voting advisory participants on selected City boards and commissions when allowed by law. These participants could provide input but could not vote, count toward a quorum, or serve as chair or vice-chair of a board or commission.

A vote FOR would allow ETJ residents to serve in these non-voting advisory roles.

A vote AGAINST would not add this option to the Charter.
