Shall the City of Pflugerville City Charter be amended to authorize the mayor alone to excuse the City Manager from attending a meeting?
The City Charter currently requires the City Manager to attend City Council meetings unless excused by the City Council. Proposition H would instead allow the Mayor alone to excuse the City Manager from attending a meeting. The City Manager is still appointed by City Council, and remains responsible to the City Council in their role.
A vote FOR would give the Mayor this authority.
A vote AGAINST would keep the current requirement that the City Council excuse the City Manager.
