Shall the City of Pflugerville City Charter be amended to lower, from fifteen percent (15%) to ten percent (10%), the percentage of qualified voters required to sign a petition for an initiative, referendum, or nonbinding referendum?
Shall the City of Pflugerville City Charter be amended to lower, from fifteen percent (15%) to ten percent (10%), the percentage of qualified voters required to sign a petition for an initiative, referendum, or nonbinding referendum? <H3>Explanation <TX>The City Charter currently requires signatures from at least 15% of qualified voters registered to vote at the last regular City election. Proposition D would lower the requirement to 10%. Reducing the number of signatures needed might make it easier for a citizen-proposed ordinance or a repeal vote (referendum) to get on the ballot.

A vote FOR would lower the petition signature requirement from 15% to 10%.

A vote AGAINST would keep the 15% requirement.
