Proposal D Village of Newberry Fire Operations Millage RenewalShall the previously voted increase in the tax limitation on the total amount of taxes that may be levied against all taxable property within the Village of Newberry imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution of up to and including 2.0 mills ($2.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) reduced to 1.8162 ($1.8162 per $1,000 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed in the amount of the original voted 2.0 mills ($2,00 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for six (6) years, beginning 2027 through 2032, inclusive, on all taxable property within the Village of Newberry, Luce County, Michigan for the purpose of maintaining, equipping, and operating the Newberry Fire Department, raising an estimate $46,183.00 in the first year the millage is levied?
