Experience
I currently serve as a Grand Blanc Township Trustee after being appointed to the Board in February 2026. Since then, I've reviewed budgets, evaluated policies, asked thoughtful questions, and made decisions on issues that directly impact our community. Before joining the Township Board, I spent several years working in local government, where I gained experience with public meetings, government operations, election administration, public records, and the importance of transparency and accountability. I've worked closely with elected officials, department leaders, and community stakeholders, giving me a strong understanding of how local government functions and how decisions are made. I also serve as Executive Director of Recovery Alliance P

Campaign Message
My campaign is centered on thoughtful, accessible leadership and a commitment to putting Grand Blanc Township first. Since being appointed to the Township Board in February 2026, I have approached every decision by listening to residents, asking questions, doing the homework, and carefully considering what is in the best interest of our community. I believe local government works best when it is transparent, accountable, and focused on serving people, not politics. I am running to continue building trust, protecting the character of our township, and making informed decisions that strengthen our community.

I have firsthand experience with how government operates and how decisions at the township, county, and state levels impact residents. I am experienced in reviewing policies, budgets, and contracts, asking thoughtful questions, and making informed decisions. My work with elected officials, public boards, community organizations, and residents has strengthened my communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. I am a good listener, remain even-keeled when perspectives differ, and value honesty, respect, accessibility, and informed decision-making.
I focus on financial responsibility, township service quality, smart growth, public safety, infrastructure and protecting the quality of life in our community. I also work to communicate effectively, be transparent, and provide our residents opportunities to be heard on important issues. I have the utmost respect for all the members of the Board and recognize the importance of working together, despite any difference in viewpoints or opinions. I believe that each trustee has a responsibility to carefully consider facts, listen to our residents and to vote based on his/her own conscience and what is in the best interest of the township.
I am very active in the community. As a Board member I actively communicate with people via social media so that everyone can better understand what is happening in our townships and also better understand me. I listen to their concerns and they hear me. It's important to me that people can come to me with their questions, ideas and concerns. One of my roles as a board member is to ensure that the decisions we make matter to the citizens of our townships. I prepare to vote by listening to my neighbors' concerns and taking them seriously. Since becoming a Board member I have voted against the Flock camera contract twice for that very reason. I will continue to be available and bring my views and our neighbors' concerns to the forefront.
I care deeply about our community and I take seriously my obligation to serve the community. I enjoy listening and asking questions. I have experience in local government, nonprofit leadership, and community advocacy. I believe everyone should have a voice and, therefore, I will listen and consider other perspectives, even if I do not agree with them. I have a deep desire for transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer money. While you may not always agree with every decision I make, you will always know where I stand and why. I will be open, well-informed, and willing to speak out on issues that matter to you.
