Campaign Message My campaign is about service, accountability, and building stronger neighborhoods. I believe public service should be measured not only by what we say at City Hall, but by what residents can see happening in their communities. My focus is on safer neighborhoods, eliminating blight, improving housing, creating opportunities for our youth, supporting local businesses, expanding workforce development, and making sure taxpayer dollars are used responsibly. My approach to leadership is simple: listen to the people, show up in the community, ask the difficult questions, and work toward solutions.
Endorsements M.A.D.E Institute
I bring proven leadership, local government experience, nonprofit management, and years of hands-on community service. As a current Flint City Councilman and founder of The M.A.D.E. Institute, I understand the challenges facing our neighborhoods and the importance of creating practical solutions. I am a strong listener, communicator, and problem-solver who can build partnerships and work across differences. My experience with budgets, policies, workforce development, youth mentorship, housing, and neighborhood revitalization allows me to bring both knowledge and a service-first approach to the council.
My priorities are safer neighborhoods, blight elimination, housing and neighborhood revitalization, youth development, economic growth, and responsible government. I will work to expand youth jobs, mentorship, recreation, and skilled-trades opportunities while supporting home repairs, homeownership, local businesses, and job creation. I will also promote public safety through effective policing and community partnerships. Above all, I will advocate for transparency, fiscal responsibility, and investments that improve the quality of life for Flint residents.
I will remain accessible, visible, and engaged with residents through neighborhood meetings, community events, phone calls, email, social media, and direct conversations. I believe effective representation starts with listening and meeting people where they are. I will bring residents’ concerns to City Hall, provide updates on important issues, and explain my decisions. Even when we disagree, I will listen respectfully and remain accountable. My goal is to ensure constituents know their voices are heard and their interests are represented.

Yes. Public office is a public trust, and elected officials should be held to clear ethical standards regarding conduct, conflicts of interest, transparency, and fiduciary responsibility. An ethics agreement helps protect public resources, promotes accountability, and strengthens residents’ confidence in government. These standards should be fair, clearly defined, and applied consistently to every official. Taking an oath reinforces our responsibility to serve with integrity and always put the public interest first.
I want voters to know that I am committed to service, accountability, and being present in the community. My leadership is shaped by lived experience and years of working directly with Flint residents through community development, youth mentorship, workforce development, and neighborhood improvement. I understand the challenges many families face because I have faced challenges of my own. I believe leadership means listening, showing up, doing the work, and treating every resident with respect. My commitment is to serve with integrity and keep Flint residents at the center of every decision.
