With 26 years in the USAF and 25 years in HR, I have a lifetime of public service.
Currently jails are the only source of mental health treatment. The state needs to do a better job with treatment, freeing jail space for people who deserve to be there.
I would hold less executive meetings and once a month court would be at night so working residents can attend. Commissioners need to have town halls
I would form a committee to see which services are needed, then prioritize the need, and fund as needed.
The current rules are adequate but need to be enforced. Voters do t need to be hassled and dodging poll greeters when they are just trying to get to the door to vote. Poll greeters need to allow voters access without bothering them.
Data centers are not good for our county. We do not have the water resources, fire protection equipment, or manning to handle it. Taxes are too high and elected official salaries are too high.
