White Settlement City Council, Place 1

City councils in Texas each have specific responsibilities unique to their city. Duties of a city council generally include setting the tax rate, approving a budget, adopting local ordinances, and managing land transactions. City councils plan and oversee public services and facilities: police and fire protection; health and sanitation services; animal control; street construction and maintenance; garbage collection and disposal; transportation systems; recreational facilities; parking; airports; jails; parks and zoos; libraries and museums; hospitals and emergency services; building codes/zoning; and water and sewage service. City council members may also elect other municipal officers or appoint citizens to serve on boards and commissions.

Occupation Stone Mason
I’m a stonemason by trade with years of experience building homes, businesses and structures. I also spent time in college, where I strengthened my communication and problem solving skills.
My work has taught me discipline, attention to detail and the importance of doing the job right the first time. My background blends hands on labor with academic learning, giving me a practical, grounded understanding of the challenges everyday people face.
As a councilman, I would make sure residents having an opportunity to be heard and that city government operates openly and transparently.
My goal would be simple; protect individual rights, use taxpayer dollars responsibly and ensure every resident has equal access to city services.
My position on ICE is that immigration enforcement is primarily a federal responsibility, not a city function. The city should follow the Constitution, comply with court orders and federal warrants and cooperate when legally required. People living in the USA have a right to due process. I believe everyone is entitled to equal protection under the law. The city's responsibility is to maintain public safety and enforce local laws fairly.
Maintaining streets and infrastructure, public safety and responsible use of taxpayer dollars.

As a councilman, I would address these by prioritizing essential infrastructure, supporting public safety services, carefully reviewing spending and ensuring residents have a voice in major decisions affecting our community.
