POWELL TOWNSHIP HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE AND RECYCLING SERVICES
Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property in PowellTownship, Marquette County, Michigan, be increased and levied at 1.00 mills ($1.00 on each$1,000 of taxable valuation) upon expiration of the current garbage collection millage for a periodof 3 years, from 2027 to 2029, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for continued townshiphousehold garbage collection, Powell Township Transfer Station operations, recycling and relatedwaste disposal services?If approved and levied in full, this millage will raise an estimated $128,798 in the first year of levy.
