The Probate Court here in Oconee has made great strides in improving our services to ensure fairness to all who has probate matters before the court. The main critical issue for the probate court in Oconee is to find a way to have a more secure and safe courtroom for our citizens and staff.

Artificial Intelligence is of concern to me. Not only in our court, but in all courts. I along with other probate judges are pushing to get regulations on AI and it's use in courts. AI can be very beneficial, however, in my view, it can also be very dangerous without with regulations dn rules governing it.
The Code of Judicial Conduct, the 5 Cannons, which are the ethical guidelines that all judges in our state are responsible in abiding by. Following these guidelines ensure a well-maintained court.
If elected, I would continue to build upon the many positive improvements that have been made during my first term. Mostly, we will continue to improve our mental health, chemical dependency and special needs court. Since my time in office, this court has held a yearly mental health summit that bring all partners together for training and collaboration. This brings awareness and solutions that assist in reducing these issues that plagues our state. I created a local order for appointment of attorneys to represent our most vulnerable citizens to ensure they have adequate and proper representation. We have significantly reduced the time in administering estates here in Oconee and intend to continue to do so.
