This isn’t my first campaign, and I’m proud of that. I’ve run before, and I’m running again because our community’s challenges haven’t gone away, and neither have I.

Every time I’ve run, I’ve listened, learned, and grown. I’ve knocked on doors, sat on porches, and heard stories that remind me why public service matters. What makes this race different is that I’m not running just to win. I’m running to make sure no one in our district feels unheard or unseen again.
I want to ensure we have great public schools, safe roads, and affordable healthcare. Our local teachers, school staff, families, and students are working as hard as they can with limited resources, and my district has recently raised test scores. I'll bring them funding so they can learn in real buildings, not just mobile classrooms, and hire additional teachers and expand programs as needed. The local division of the SCDOT is also overwhelmed with work orders, so I'll help them coordinate better with county and town governments, as well as secure additional funding through grants. Finally, SC has left money for Medicaid sitting on the table. I'll fight to expand it so we can get that money where it belongs: helping people.
You deserve leadership that will take your concerns directly to the State House and fight for your interests. I've been knocking on your doors and calling your phones for four years now to ask what local issues are most important to you, and that's how I've arrived at these four: opportunities for local businesses, strong schools, safe roads, and a healthy community. These are the things you have asked for, and I know they are needed in District 44 because they matter most to my family, too. I'm looking forward to partnering with all of you to make Indian Land and Van Wyck the very best community it can be.
