Education
University of South Carolina, BA, 2008. Clover High School, 2004.
Four years ago, I ran because I believed the community that raised me deserved thoughtful, responsible leadership during a period of extraordinary growth. That belief hasn't changed. Clover's tradition of excellence was built over generations by people who cared enough to contribute, and I want to continue doing my part. Board service has taught me that the decisions aren't always easy, but showing up, doing the homework, listening to our community and putting students first are responsibilities I take seriously. I'm running for another term because there is important work ahead, and I'm committed to continuing it.
1. Educational excellence: Help shape our next strategic plan with meaningful input from teachers, parents and administrators. Examine instructional technology, AI and opportunities to strengthen learning while supporting our employees.
2. Responsible growth: Continue addressing enrollment, facility capacity and maintenance needs through long-term capital planning that serves both existing and new schools.
3. Fiscal stewardship and transparency: Scrutinize budgets, debt and spending priorities; communicate financial decisions clearly; and balance the needs of students and employees with the responsibility we have to taxpayers.
I offer four years of firsthand experience governing Clover School District, a professional background in business and finance, and deep roots in the community I serve. I've participated in difficult decisions involving growth, facilities, budgets and educational priorities while remaining accessible to parents, employees and taxpayers. I understand that a trustee is one of seven, and that effective governance requires preparation, collaboration and accountability. Four years ago, I asked this community to trust me with the responsibility. Today, I have a record of service that people can examine for themselves.

As a lifelong member of the Clover community, I am proud to be a graduate of Clover Schools and the father of three children who currently attend our schools. I am committed to keeping Clover Schools transparent, accountable, and focused on providing equal opportunities for every student.
At 46 years young, I bring both personal experience and a strong understanding of the skills and challenges that will shape our future workforce and future educators. I believe the students of the Clover School District are the leaders of tomorrow, and I want to ensure they have every opportunity to succeed. By working together with parents, teachers, staff, and community members, we can continue building a school system that prepares every student for a b
