I grew up in Rock Hill Schools, and this community helped shape who I am. I’m running because the decisions we make today will affect students, families, and our city for years to come. I want Rock Hill Schools to be the first choice for families. I believe my professional experience leading large teams, managing significant budgets, building student programs, and working across government, education, and the technology industry can bring a useful perspective to the board.
Academic achievement: Focus resources on what improves student outcomes and hold ourselves accountable to measurable results. Safe, disciplined schools: Support clear expectations, strong school leadership, and classrooms where teachers can teach and students can learn. Career readiness: Expand pathways through ATC, Arts, dual enrollment, certifications, college, military, and direct-to-work opportunities while strengthening partnerships with local employers.

All 3 of these with the intention to attract the best educators. Ensure Rock Hill schools is the top choice for families of all backgrounds. Ensure the kids who graduate from our schools have a diverse and world class public education experience with a real plan for what's next.
I bring a different kind of experience to the board. I’m a Rock Hill Schools graduate, an 8-year Air Force veteran, and a technology leader who has managed large projects, significant budgets, and large teams. I’ve also raised more than $500,000 for education and community initiatives and helped serve more than 150 high school students across the country.

I’m young, energetic, and deeply invested in this community, with high expectations for what our hometown schools can be. I would bring that same focus on execution, accountability, and long-term thinking to the board.

I am running for the Rock Hill School Board because I believe every decision must put students first while supporting the teachers and staff who serve them.

As a lifelong Rock Hill resident, disabled Army veteran, business leader, father, and product of our community, I want to bring practical solutions, accountability, and teamwork from the boardroom to the classroom. Our district faces real challenges—including declining enrollment, student achievement, safety, discipline, and community trust. I am not running merely to discuss these problems; I am running to help solve them.

Our children deserve leadership focused on their futures—not politics or personal agendas.
1. Student Achievement: Use academic data to identify learning gaps, expand tutoring, strengthen STEM/STEAM and career programs, and set measurable goals for student progress.

2. Safe Schools and Strong Employees: Promote fair and consistent discipline, strengthen mental-health and safety resources, and support competitive pay and better working conditions for teachers and support staff.

3. Accountability and Community Trust: Examine declining enrollment, listen to families, review spending, and provide clear public reports showing how decisions affect classrooms and student outcomes.

I am not running simply to discuss problems. I am running to help deliver practical solutions—from the boardroom to the classroom.
You should vote for me because I bring proven leadership, practical problem-solving, and a sincere commitment to the Rock Hill community. As a lifelong Rock Hill resident, disabled Army veteran, father, business leader, and active community servant, I understand accountability, perseverance, teamwork, and service.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, two master’s degrees, and work toward a Ph.D. in organizational leadership, I have the education and experience to evaluate complex issues, manage resources responsibly, and help turn ideas into measurable results.

I will listen to students, parents, educators, employees, and community members. I will ask difficult but respectful questions, support decisions based on facts.

I am running because I believe our community deserves to have a voice at the board table. I am a product of Rock Hill Schools, and after 17 years as a parent in Rock Hill Schools, as well as a volunteer, sports mom, booster club member and officer, and assistant coach, I have seen our schools from many perspectives. I believe strong schools require trust, transparency and communication between the School Board and the people it serves. I want to be an accessible board member who listens to our students, teachers, staff, families and community, asks the questions, does the homework and makes informed decisions with students at the center.
My top three priorities are keeping students at the center of decisions, increasing transparency, and strengthening accountability. I will ask how policies and budget decisions directly affect students and the educators who serve them. I will push for district information, including budgets, organizational structure and upcoming decisions to be easier for the public to find and understand before decisions are made. I will ask questions, review the information provided, listen to our community and expect clear explanations for how taxpayer dollars are spent and how decisions support the district’s goals.

I bring the perspective of a longtime Rock Hill Schools parent and community member, but I also bring something I believe is important: the time and flexibility to make serving on the School Board a major focus. I will have the time to attend meetings, study the issues, ask questions, listen to our community and be accessible when people have concerns. I am not running to simply occupy a seat. I am running to do the work. I will approach each decision independently, explain my votes, and remain focused on what best serves our students, teachers, staff and community.
