I have extensive experience in government, non-profits and elected offices. I have an established record of respectful leadership and working together with others. I have the proven leadership skills it takes to work with a diverse community. I have been elected chair on School Board, City Council, and other various boards in our area. I have served Red Wing in various capacities for over 20 years and look forward to the opportunity to continue for another term.
We still have a lot of work to do, and my three priorities would be to continue to work on Tax Relief, Community Development, and Respectful Leadership. These three areas will help improve our city by increasing economic development, supporting housing growth, controlling the city budget, and continuing to see our downtown and riverfront be highlighted.
I will continue to be a good neighbor and leader. I take phone calls and meet with whomever would like to share their concerns with me. I attend events that build relationships and make efforts to always let others know they are seen and appreciated.
I believe that a clear process and framework for what is done in city government is always helpful for elected officials and the community. Strategic planning helps maintain the priorities and a workplan keeps work on track.
