I've served Plymouth for nearly a decade: on our Environmental Quality Committee, Planning Commission, City Council, and this year as deputy mayor. I bring energy, forward-looking leadership, and a proven record: I championed affordable housing policy, protected our lakes and green spaces, and created listening sessions to bring residents' voices into city decisions. I don't wait for problems to arrive, I bring issues to the council proactively, on housing, emergency preparedness, and the environment. I have the support of a majority of my council colleagues. Plymouth is entering a new era of redevelopment, and I'm ready to lead it with the experience, ideas, and openness this moment requires.

I created Plymouth's listening sessions and championed stronger connections with our boards and commissions, by inviting chairs to present regularly to the council. Plymouth has earned top honors for financial transparency every year I've served. As mayor, I will continue holding listening sessions in every ward, expand joint meetings across our boards and commissions, and stay personally engaged with our independent audit process to maintain that same standard of accountability.

I bring issues I hear from residents and local businesses to the council table, and I follow through until they become real solutions, not just conversations—like the tobacco ordinance I helped pass. I'll also work to empower the passionate volunteers on our boards and commissions, giving them more opportunity to bring ideas forward and shape real change, not just review decisions after the fact.
I'm committed to steadfast support for our police, firefighters, and first responders. I've championed road safety redesigns that reduced accidents. As mayor, I'll prioritize reactivating Fire Station 1, a currently unused facility, to improve emergency response times across our growing city. I will also make sure any use of tools like license plate cameras is balanced with residents' right to privacy, so trust in our police stays strong.
