I have several years of experience working with the City of Glenwood as a city commissioner, which has given me a strong understanding of how our local government operates and how decisions affect our residents. I have also served for many years as a board member and President of the Glenwood Development Corporation, working closely with the city to support new business development and expand workforce housing opportunities.
As a small business manager and owner in Glenwood for more than 25 years, I have firsthand experience with the challenges and opportunities facing our community. I work with people every day, and I understand the importance of listening, being practical, and finding solutions that benefit the whole town.
My top priority is to continue strengthening Glenwood as a welcoming, safe, and comfortable place to live and work. Our city has benefited from years of steady leadership, and I want to build on that foundation by supporting community growth, maintaining public safety, and ensuring Glenwood remains a place people are proud to call home.
I will maintain a strong working relationship with our city administrator to ensure clear communication and accountability in all city actions. I will keep the commission fully informed and continue regular public meetings so residents have open access to information and understand how our decisions are made.
I will stay accessible to residents through regular public meetings, open communication with the city administrator, and clear updates on city actions. I will encourage residents to share ideas and concerns and make sure the commission hears them.
I will maintain regular communication with our Chief of Police to understand the department’s needs and support effective public safety in our community. Public safety is a top priority, and I will work closely with law enforcement and city staff to help residents feel safe, informed, and confident in the services that protect our community.
