I bring 16 years of experience serving as Mayor of Dilworth, leading our community through challenges including the housing crisis F-M Diversion alignment, and the COVID-19 pandemic. During that time, I have focused on practical solutions, responsible growth, and strong partnerships. Under my leadership, Dilworth has experienced significant residential and commercial growth, the successful advancement of our Fire Department, and the development of a new Community Center that will serve residents for generations. I understand our community, know how to bring people together, and have a proven record of turning challenges into opportunities. I am ready to continue to bring my experience, perspective, and commitment to Dilworth’s future.
If re-elected, my top three priorities will be completing the Community Center, expanding residential development, and advancing redevelopment along Highway 10. The Community Center fulfills a promise to our citizens and provides a place to gather and grow. New housing will strengthen our tax base and support our newest park. Along Highway 10, I will champion reinvestment, strengthen existing businesses, attract new investment, and revitalize the corridor.
Throughout my tenure, I have made transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership top priorities. I will continue communicating openly with residents, encouraging public input, and ensuring important decisions are discussed in public. I believe elected officials must be accountable for their actions, follow established policies and laws, and always put Dilworth residents' interests first. My commitment is to continue to lead with honesty, integrity, and openness.
I believe good leadership starts with listening. During my tenure, I have engaged residents through public hearings, community meetings, and pop-up meetings on important projects, including the Community Center. I have made myself available for one-on-one conversations and worked to hear differing perspectives before decisions are made. I believe residents should understand not only what decisions are made, but why—and I will continue making their voices central to Dilworth’s future
As Mayor, I have made public safety and strong law enforcement a top priority. I have consistently stood behind our officers, supported high-quality training and resources, and upheld the rule of law. I have also championed community policing through Lunch with a Cop, Night to Unite, and Kite Day, bringing officers, families, and youth together. My record shows that strong leadership means supporting our officers while building trust and making Dilworth safer and stronger.
