I will offer a common sense approach to local politics. The current city council does a poor job of communicating. I hope to rectify that shortcoming. I will also be one of the hardest working council members. I am not a politician my responses will be brief and to the point.
Control city spending where possible to help control taxes.
Listen to the concerns of the voters.
I am a very active volunteer within the City of Austin I expect that to continue so that I am available and a visible member of the community.
I will meet with them to discuss their concerns. As with all aspects of life the major problems are the lack of communication. I hope to improve the avenues of communication.
