My top priorities are keeping our communities safe, ensuring education dollars reach the classroom, and investing in working families. As a prosecutor with the Office of Attorney General, I know public safety requires supporting law enforcement and holding everyone accountable under the law. As a father of three, I want strong public schools with excellent teachers and resources focused on students. I’ll also work to lower costs, protect good-paying jobs, and make sure families can afford to build a life in our communities.
Minnesota succeeds when working people and businesses can succeed together. I’ll focus on lowering everyday costs, expanding access to affordable health care and child care, supporting small businesses, and investing in the infrastructure and workforce our economy needs. I’ll also fight for fair wages and policies that strengthen the middle class without placing unnecessary burdens on families and local businesses.
Equal opportunity and equal justice should apply to every Minnesotan. I would support evidence-based efforts to close disparities in education, health care, housing, employment, and our justice system. As a prosecutor, I believe our laws must be enforced fairly and consistently. I’ll listen to our communities, examine the data, and support policies that remove barriers while expanding opportunity for everyone.
Yes. I support giving Minnesotans the opportunity to vote on an Equal Rights Amendment. Our laws should guarantee equal protection and opportunity regardless of who you are. Those principles are fundamental to our democracy, and Minnesotans deserve the chance to decide whether those protections should be explicitly guaranteed in our state constitution.
Clean air and clean water are basic responsibilities we owe to our children and future generations. I support strong protections for Minnesota’s lakes, rivers, groundwater, and drinking water, including addressing PFAS and other emerging contaminants. I’ll rely on sound science, listen to stakeholders and support responsible environmental standards that protect both our natural resources and Minnesota jobs.
As a prosecutor, I see the impact of crime every day when I meet with Victims. I’ll support law enforcement and first responders while ensuring they have the resources they need. We must close loopholes that allow people and corporations to exploit us and our kids online. I support holding violent offenders accountable, strengthening laws that protect children and victims of abuse, improving mental health and addiction services, and practical reforms that prevent gun violence.
Voters should have confidence that elected officials answer to them, not wealthy special interests. I support strong disclosure and transparency requirements so Minnesotans know who is spending money to influence their elections. I would also support strengthening Minnesota’s public campaign financing system and enforcing campaign finance laws fairly and consistently. Democracy works best when candidates compete for voters, not just big donors.
