My top priorities are affordability, stability, and opportunity. I will work to lower the cost of housing, health care, child care, and everyday necessities; protect strong public schools, safe communities, and the rights Minnesotans rely on; and expand opportunity by supporting small businesses, workforce development, good-paying jobs, and infrastructure. Minnesotans deserve a state where families can afford to stay, communities are stable, and everyone has a fair chance to build a good life.
I will focus on the costs state policy can actually affect: housing, health care, child care, energy, transportation, and taxes. I support policies that help small businesses grow, expand workforce training, improve infrastructure, increase housing supply, and keep taxes proportionate, reasonable, and predictable. Minnesota should be a place where businesses can thrive and families can afford to live.
I would support targeted, data-driven efforts to close disparities in education, health, housing, employment, business ownership, and the justice system. That includes expanding access to homeownership and capital, supporting minority-owned small businesses, improving maternal and child health outcomes, enforcing civil-rights protections, and ensuring state programs are evaluated for whether they are actually producing equitable outcomes.
Yes. I support allowing Minnesotans to vote on an Equal Rights Amendment that provides explicit constitutional protection against discrimination. Fundamental equality should not depend solely on which laws happen to be in effect or who holds office. Constitutional protection creates a durable baseline requiring Minnesota government to treat people equally under the law.
I support strong protections for drinking water, wetlands, groundwater, and Minnesota’s lakes and rivers; meaningful action on PFAS and other emerging contaminants; polluter accountability; and rigorous environmental review for projects that could cause lasting harm. I also support investments that help communities replace aging infrastructure and protect drinking-water sources before contamination occurs.
Safe communities require both effective law enforcement and prevention. I support adequate resources for police, firefighters, EMS, and 911 systems; common-sense gun-safety measures; violence-prevention and youth-intervention programs; mental-health and substance-use services; and investments that address repeat offending. Public-safety technology should also have strong privacy, transparency, and accountability safeguards.
I support strong disclosure and transparency requirements, enforcement of campaign-finance laws, and Minnesota’s public-financing programs that help ordinary voters participate in campaigns. I would also support examining stronger disclosure rules for independent expenditures and organizations spending heavily to influence elections, so voters can clearly understand who is funding political messages.
