o Public safety – It is critical that we have a safe community. I will stand with our public safety officers in providing them the resources needed to keep our community safe. o Fiscal responsibility – We pay a lot in taxes. We have a great city with fantastic services. We need to ensure that we are fiscally responsible. I have extensive experience in budgets and finance and will add a professional perspective and will treat our finances as I would my own. o Focus on Municipal Services – I will engage efforts to focus our time and resources to ensure that we provide the core services that you depend upon from your city: Public Safety, Roads, Water, Parks, Development….and not get sidetracked in partisan politics.

Your tax dollars will be treated with care and respect. • Housing /Planned development – We have and are forecasted that we will have a housing shortage. We need to create housing but in a way that is forward thinking and innovative. I want to ensure we have a strong master plan that will put the right uses in the right areas, grow strong business and enhance quality of life. • Supporting an environment for business.
• I do not have an absolute position on data center development at this time, however, if this does come to consideration, we must take care and weigh all aspects of this through thoughtful dialogue. We need to make sure that it does not detriment our residents with any harmful effects on water, energy costs or availability or impact on the area. Wyoming is a city of progress and opportunity but that needs to be fair for all concerned.

I’m qualified for this position because I bring both professional experience and a lifelong connection to Wyoming. I was born and raised here, attended Oriole Park, spent weekends at the flea market, and built the foundation of who I am in this community. I’ve worked in the U.S. House of Representatives and spent years working in voter registration, election protection, and civic engagement. Those experiences taught me the importance of listening to people, building trust, bringing different voices together, and making government more accessible. I’ve also worked directly with working families through my time with food service, which keeps me connected to the everyday experiences of people in our community.
Making sure residents feel heard and connected to their local government is one of our biggest challenges. We need council members who are out in the community, listening to residents and understanding their everyday experiences, not just waiting for people to come to City Hall. I hear concerns about the cost of living, maintaining our roads and neighborhoods, water affordability, public safety, and supporting local businesses. We can address these challenges by creating more opportunities for residents to share their ideas, improving communication, being transparent about taxpayer dollars, and working together on practical solutions. Our city government should meet people where they are.
One of my biggest goals would be to launch a youth civic engagement program for Wyoming students. I would work with local schools to invite students to City Council meetings, organize conversations with councilmembers and city staff, and create hands-on opportunities to learn how local government works. Students could identify an issue affecting their neighborhood, learn how the city addresses it, and develop ideas for positive change. I would also partner with educators and community organizations to make the program accessible to students across Wyoming. Young people should have a seat at the table and understand that their voices matter in shaping the community they call home.
I do not support data center development in our community. We need to prioritize development that directly benefits our residents and strengthens our neighborhoods, rather than projects that can place significant demands on our water, energy, infrastructure, and land. Before considering any proposal, residents deserve transparency about its environmental impact, resource use, costs, and long-term effects on our community. Our water and infrastructure are public resources, and any development should put the needs of Wyoming residents first.
