Kalkaska County - Clearwater Township Fire Department Operating Millage Renewal and Increase
Shall the limitation on the amount of ad valorem taxes which may be levied by the Township of Clearwater, Kalkaska County Michigan, against taxable property in the Township be increased by 1.25 mill ($1.25 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of (4) years, 2026 through 2029, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for the operation and maintenance of Clearwater Township Fire Department and firefighting equipment. Shall the Township levy such millage for these purposes? If approved and levied, this millage would raise an estimated $250,650 for the Township Fire Department 2026 operations.
