City Council MemberTogether with the mayor, Council members adopt the city budget, set the property tax rate, pass local laws, and make decisions about city services and policies. Some localities may use the term Alderman/Alderwoman and term lengths are based on the local or city ordinance.

I have consistently advanced health and safety code enforcement through multiple agenda items over the past two years while supporting our Police Department with the equipment and resources needed to protect our community. Public safety must also respect individual rights. When residents raised concerns about Flock cameras and privacy, I listened and supported ending the program.
I would not promote growth beyond what our infrastructure can support. Developers should pay their fair share for impacts to roads, water and wastewater rather than shifting costs to existing property owners, as I required with Firefly. I support property rights and a predictable Development Services process while opposing added LUEs solely to expand growth and addressing dormant PDD entitlements.
I oppose data center development that places excessive demands on our water, power or infrastructure. Any proposal should be rooted in resource conservation, with strict limits on water use, full disclosure of projected demand, and requirements that developers pay for infrastructure impacts rather than shifting those costs to residents.
My work at the Texas Attorney General's Office, nonprofit leadership, health care and real estate taught me to serve others by listening, asking questions, solving problems and using sound judgment.
Public safety is personal, shaped by military members and first responders in my family and years helping seniors. I support well-trained law enforcement that keeps us safe and respects due process, privacy and equal treatment. I would strengthen wildfire prevention, emergency response and evacuation planning with police, fire/EMS and regional partners, including residents needing assistance.
We must take care of what we already have, verify the facts, protect taxpayers and plan responsibly as Lago Vista grows. I would use current capacity data and adopted master plans to prioritize essential water, wastewater and road repairs. I would coordinate transportation planning and evaluate housing proposals based on capacity, taxpayer impact and community needs.
My responsibility is to the people who already call Lago Vista home. Our terrain and limited roads and utilities mean I cannot support a data center without proof it would not reduce service or shift costs to residents. I support verified water-use projections, infrastructure funded by developers, efficient cooling and reuse, drought limits and protections for Lake Travis and our neighborhoods.
