Vote for no more than one candidate for Hopkins Village President for a 2-year term.A Village President’s role is that of “Executive Head” of the village and leads the Village Council. The role and duties of this individual, along with the Village Council, are established by local charter and typically include appropriation of money; oversight of public peace, health & safety services and local ordinances; adoption of laws, codes and rules, as well as other services that the village’s charter may require.
