I have called Otsego home since 2010, where my wife Tara and I are raising our three daughters, and I want to continue serving the community we love. As Pastor of Student Leadership Development at Friendship Wesleyan Church, I have learned to listen well, mentor people, communicate clearly, and help others work together toward a shared purpose—the same skills I bring to city government. After serving on the Planning Commission, I was appointed to the City Commission in 2022 and elected in 2024; during that time, I have gained practical experience in budgeting, infrastructure, and the everyday decisions that shape our streets, parks, and downtown. I have also been active in Otsego Main Street, Hometown Christmas, and Rotary.

I see the Commission as a group of servants called to be good stewards of what has been entrusted to us, and I would be grateful for the chance to keep helping Otsego leave behind a legacy of solid character and wise forethought for the next generation.
The top issues facing our City Government in the next two years are housing, safety, and sustainability.
I believe representing Otsego well begins with listening. I will gather information, seek input from residents, and then work to make decisions that reflect the needs and hopes of the people I serve.
