25+ years in banking and financial services, with executive leadership and regulatory experience, combined with my current service as Williamson County Tax Assessor-Collector.
I built a 25+ year career in financial services, advancing into executive leadership, earned my bachelor’s degree, and was recognized in 2021 for service to a local nonprofit. I was selected by Commissioners Court to serve as Tax Assessor-Collector, bringing my leadership, financial experience, and commitment to community service to the office.
As Williamson County grows, our services must grow with it. I will focus on expanding online services, providing clear and accessible information, reducing wait times, and evaluating processes for greater efficiency—while ensuring taxpayers can still reach knowledgeable staff and receive responsive, personal service when they need it.
With more than one-third of our staff serving the Tax Office for over 10 years, we have a strong foundation of experience. I will continue investing in training and development, creating opportunities for advancement from within, and fostering a positive workplace that helps us recruit and retain knowledgeable, service-focused staff.
For 12 years, I’ve served Texas county and district employees, helping 7,000+ plan their financial futures. I’ll bring that experience, trust, empathy, and service to the Williamson County Tax Office.
I’ve worked with hundreds of county and district employers across Texas, serving county employees and speaking at statewide conferences. I’ve also held leadership responsibilities helping hire, train, and evaluate team members. This experience has prepared me to lead a high-performing Tax Office focused on service, accountability, and results.
I’ll use technology to modernize and streamline Tax Office processes, improving efficiency while making responsible use of taxpayer dollars. My goal is to maximize the customer experience, reduce unnecessary barriers, and ensure every interaction demonstrates that local government can work efficiently and effectively for the people it serves.
My experience as a TCDRS retirement educator will help us use our excellent retirement benefits to recruit and retain talented employees. I’ll also invest in training and build a workplace culture rooted in empathy, service, and care—ensuring we serve not only the public, but also the employees who make the Tax Office work.
