The County Assessor is responsible for determining the value of real and personal property within Clark County for tax purposes and ensuring those valuations are fair and equitable. The office plays a central role in administering property tax assessments, exemptions, and tax-related information for homeowners and businesses, and works to make property valuation transparent and understandable for the public. Because property taxes fund essential local services — including schools, public safety, and infrastructure — this race matters for how taxpayer dollars are calculated, communicated, and applied throughout the community. Elections for assessor give voters a chance to support leadership committed to accurate valuation, accountability in tax administration, and responsiveness to the needs of property owners.

I’m running for Assessor because your property taxes should be based on fair values—not outdated numbers or bureaucratic shortcuts.
The Assessor doesn’t set the tax rate. But we do decide the value that rate is applied to. That means fairness starts right here.
Seniors, veterans, and working families shouldn’t have to fight the system just to get the exemptions they’re entitled to. I’ll make sure they don’t.
Accurate assessments protect every homeowner. When some properties are undervalued, the rest of us make up the difference. That’s not fair—and it ends with me.
I’m not a politician looking for a stepping stone. I’m running because this office touches every property owner in this county, and it deserves someone who treats it that way.
Transparency isn’t optional. You should be able to understand your assessment without needing a lawyer or an accountant.
This office should work for the people who pay the bills—not the other way around.

The biggest challenge facing the Clark County Assessor’s Office is keeping pace with a rapidly growing and changing community while maintaining the accuracy, accessibility, and public-service standards taxpayers deserve. Clark County continues to grow, technology is changing how government operates, and property owners increasingly expect government services to be accessible, understandable, and efficient. The Assessor is responsible for valuing all taxable real and personal property in the county, so maintaining accurate data and consistent valuation practices is critical. I am committed to examining emerging technology, learning from valuation practices in other markets, and finding innovative ways to manage increasing workloads,
I will prioritize public education, staff development, technology, transparency, and multilingual access to information. She believes that when taxpayers understand how property values are determined, they are better equipped to understand the assessment process and advocate for themselves. She also believes that well trained employees are essential to delivering the level of customer service Clark County residents deserve.
