Bois Blanc Airport Millage Proposal
Airport Millage TownshipShall the previously voted increase in the tax rate limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Bois Blanc Township of 1.7646 mills ($1.7646 per $1,000 of taxable value), as reduced to 1.7083 ($1.7083 per $1,000 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed and increased by 0.0563 mill ($0.0563 per $1,000 of taxable value) to restore the millage to a total of 1.7646 mills ($1.7646 per $1,000 of taxable value), and shall Bois Blanc Township levy such millage annually for five (5) years, 2027 through 2031, inclusive, to provide funds for the general operating and capital expenses of the Township airport, thereby raising an estimated $81,594 in the first year of the levy?
