Fire Department Millage Renewal ProposalShall the previously voted increase in the tax rate limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Bois Blanc Township of 3.0 mills ($3.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) reduced to 2.9045 mills ($2.9045 per $1,000 of taxable value), and shall Bois Blanc Township levy such millage annually on taxable property within the Township for five (5) years, 2027 through 2031, inclusive, to provide funds for general operating and capital expenses of the Bois Blanc Township Fire Department: thereby raising an estimated $134,303 in the first year of levy?
