PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP PROPOSAL - Public Safety Millage
Public Safety MillageShall the Charter Township of Pennfield impose an increase of up to 6 mills ($6.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) in the tax limitations imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for eight (8) years, 2026 through 2033 inclusive to pay for the cost of providing police and fire protection services to the residents of the Township. The 6 mill increase will raise an estimated $1,885,148.028 in the first year the millage is levied?
