Emmet County Millage for Services for Older Citizens
Shall Emmett County be authorized to levy a new millage increase of .50 mills, ($.50 per $1,000 of taxable value), which replaces a previously approved millage for services to older citizens of .50 mills that expired in December of 2025, and was reduced to .4845 due to Headlee rollbacks, upon real property and tangible personal property within Emmett County for the period of four (4) years, 2026 through 2029 inclusive, with the first levy in December of 2026 for use in 2027, said funds to be used to support programs and services to the older citizens of Emmett County, and shall the County levy such millage for said purpose, thereby generating in the first year an estimated $2,281,790 (This new millage is to replace the millage that expired with the 2025 levy)?
