County Assessor
The Teton County Assessor is responsible for locating, identifying, and determining the market value of all taxable real and personal property in the county every year. The Assessor does not set tax rates but establishes the foundation for property taxes by determining fair market value for real and personal property. The office conducts on-site inspections following building permit issuances, address assignments, or for general valuation. The County Assessor is paid a salary of $145,000 per year, increasing to $153,700 in January 2027. Benefits for full-time Teton County employees include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, life insurance, and retirement through the Wyoming Retirement System.

I have lived in Jackson most of my life. I graduated in accounting from the University of Utah. My father had a production machine shop. After it was sold in 1979, I started my own accounting practice. I now just work out of my house. I did accounting and purchasing in my father's business. In my accounting practice, I have done accounting, taxes, valuations, etc. I go to church regularly, every week. I am 83 years old. I think I can do a good job as Assessor.
