Shall Rust Township impose an increase of up to 0.25 mills ($0.25 per $1,000 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for a period of 8 years, from 2026 through 2033 inclusive, for the purpose of raising funds to help the Hillman Fire Board purchase new ambulances for the Hillman Ambulance Service, raising an estimated $10,709 in the first year the millage is levied? This millage will not take effect if an ambulance purchases millage request is not also passed in Hillman Township and Montmorency Township, seeking the same millage increase, for the same period of time, and for the same purpose.
