Education, healthcare, civil rights, etc. I take such an interest in these kinds of policies because of their impact on friends, family, and neighbors. Right now, our state is doing a terrible job at addressing these issues. As a mom, I'm looking at how bad it is right now and wondering what it will look like when my kids reach adulthood.
Funding for public education. The reason being our schools are the main resource that rural communities have to stay afloat. From being the biggest employers to giving kids a good shot to go on to leave their own footprints in the world.
