As a retired teacher, the area of public policy I am most passionate about is public education. Every child deserves a chance at a better life and education is the best way for that to happen. Public tax dollars should not be used for private education. I am also very passionate about anything that impacts agriculture and rural Missourians.
My top priority for the legislative session in 2027 is to fully fund public education and raise teachers salaries. I will address this priority by working with others in both parties to come together to strengthen education in our state through increased funding and support for public schools. I will do whatever is best for the people in my district, no matter what it is.
