Rural services in education, healthcare, and infrastructure are my chief passions. We must restore and push beyond the funding cuts in public schools, provide resources to make rural hospitals viable, and maintain roads, bridges, and public utilities in our ‘blue highway’ towns. I served in rural school classrooms for 37 years and our state’s students must come first.
Restore $190M in funding cuts in public education by introducing legislation to rescind the capital gains tax and further work in paring back the boondoggle of funds allocated to the MO Scholars program.
