1) Veterans benefits/affairs - After serving 20 years, I came home to a state that has not kept its end of the bargain. Veterans are Missouri's most underutilized resource. 2) Education - The lack of accountable funding for public schools in Missouri is a travesty. The voucher system is a scam. Better benefits and homesteading draw young vets here. Good schools keep them.
Veterans benefits: introduce bills to ensure veterans are taken care of. 1) Tiered tax relief for disabled vets. 2) Update education benefits for veterans, active duty and dependents. 3) Work on certification equivalency for veterans in Missouri.
