I will focus on the areas that improve the lives and protect the rights of Missouri citizens. Enhancements in rural healthcare are critical to stabilize those communities. Fully funding public education will provide the opportunity that guarantees a better future for our children. Expansion of childcare opportunities will expand the workforce and enable growth.
Legislative action in FY2027 will be dominated by the fiscal stress resulting from the recent unsustainable budgeting. New initiatives will be non-existent with the full effort being expended to maintain essential services related to Medicaid, disabled citizens, and childcare along with sustaining education funding. Also, I will protect citizen-led ballot initiatives.
