County Commissioner
The Teton County Board of County Commissioners is the five-member elected governing body for Teton County, Wyoming. The County Commission is responsible for managing the annual budget, setting fiscal policies, and overseeing public health, safety, and land use. They serve as the county's primary legislative and executive administrative branch. County Commissioners are currently paid $50,000 per year, with an increase to $72,500 in 2027. Commissioners do not receive the same employee benefits as other county employees. Commissioners attend regular meetings, voucher meetings, workshops, and joint meetings with the Town of Jackson. Commissioners also sit on various boards, committees, and task forces as liaisons to help govern the county and set public policy.
