Denton TownshipAmbulance Services Millage Renewal & IncreaseIt is proposed that the current ambulance millage of 0.4655 mills be renewed and increased back to the previously authorized amount of 0.5 mills. Voters approved this millage at a rate of 0.5 mills in 2018. Denton Township is levying this millage to provide funding for ambulance service. Each year, this millage will cost you about $25.00 for each $50,000 of your taxable real and personal property. The millage will last from 2026 to 2033. Approximately $194,133 will be raised in the first year that the millage is levied. Should this proposed millage renewal be approved?
