Roscommon CountyLocal Road ImprovementShall the expired previously voted tax limitation of Local Road Improvement within the County of Roscommon, imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution in the County of Roscommon against real and tangible personal property, of .5000 mills ($0.5000 per $1,000 of taxable value), renewed at up to 0.4760 mills ($0.476 per $1,000 of taxable value) on the taxable value of such property and levied for a period of five (5) years, 2026 through 2030 inclusive, for the purpose of Maintaining and Rebuilding Local Roads and Municipal Streets wove within Roscommon County. And shall the Roscommon County Board of Commissioners be authorized to levy such millage for this purpose? If approved and levied in its entirety, this millage would raise an estimated $897,228.42 for Roscommon County in 2026. By law, the Village of Roscommon Downtown Development Authority (DDA) may capture and retain only that portion of the millage which is collected from the property located within the defined DDA District boundaries.
