My top three priorities are public safety, economic development and seniors. I will work to reduce crime, support first responders and invest in prevention programs. I will grow our economy by creating jobs and supporting businesses. I will also fight for affordable housing, healthcare, transportation and services that help seniors age with dignity.
I am qualified to serve as St. Louis County executive because I have a proven record of public service, managing budgets, building partnerships and delivering results for families, seniors, workers and businesses. As a state senator, I have fought for safer communities, economic growth and accountable government, and I am ready to lead on day one.

Economic development: I’ll compete globally to attract investment and ensure every resident has access to quality jobs and affordable living. Public safety: I’ll invest in the infrastructure and systems that keep every neighborhood safe. Transparent government: I’ll bring accountability, honest problem-solving and disciplined leadership to county government every day.
Eight years in the state Senate taught me how to lead effectively. I secured nearly $100 million in regional investments through coalition-building and bipartisan negotiation. St. Louis County needs a leader who can manage a complex budget, collaborate with the County Council and deliver results without political distraction. My record proves I can.

1) Restoring trust, competency and adult leadership to build a county government that we can all be proud of. 2) Working for the economic development of our entire county so we can continue to be the premier place in Missouri to live, work and raise a family. 3) Resolving the county's significant financial challenges to protect our services and quality of life.
I'm the only candidate in this field who runs a real executive office every day. As assessor I'm not always the most popular guy in town. But with me, what you see is what you get. I may not be the flashiest guy but my track record of honest public service is unmatched by any other candidate. We don't need more political bickering; we need responsible leadership.
