Sales tax: eliminate it to create a more competitive environment for business and take the burden of higher prices off consumers. Education: I've seen our education system crumble. The Legislature continues to gut funding, leaving students and educators struggling. Infrastructure: MoDOT should be fully funded to fix all road, bridge and transportation issues.
Comprehensive tax reform: elimination of all sales tax in Missouri. Exemption on first $25,000 of earned income from tax. Exemption of the first $10,000 in tangible personal property from tax. Paid for by eliminating corporate welfare and tax handouts to the wealthy. To make up for the rest of the lost revenue, I'd propose a land value tax to replace the other taxes.

Reducing the cost of living and stopping crime are my goals. I have made sure our officers have the tools they need to keep communities safe from criminals and I am proud to have the endorsement of our St. Louis County police officers. Also, I know prices are too high. I have passed legislation designed to keep more money in your pocket and will continue that mission.
My top priority is reducing the cost of living. I want to reduce taxes on things like groceries so you have more money in your pocket to handle everyday needs. As your representative, I have consistently fought to make life more affordable so your hard-earned dollars go further.

As citizens in a democracy it's our right to participate in decision-making. It's our duty to protect and preserve those rights, so I oppose Amendments 4 and 5. I support public education and I oppose measures that have eroded Missouri public school funding. Politicians don't belong in your doctor's office and I oppose abortion bans. Let's get rid of puppy mills instead.
The best investment we can make in our economy is in our children and their future. We must reverse harmful policies that have weakened public education by sending your tax dollars into private hands. We must restore funding for public schools including SSD. Excellence in public education for all will move Missouri up in national rankings and ensure we remain competitive.
