Moffat County Surveyor
There is one political party Primary election for this race: Republican. All Republican affiliated and unaffiliated voters will be eligible to cast a vote in this race. Unaffiliated voters will receive both DEM and REP ballots. Unaffiliated voters must return only ONE ballot. The County Surveyor is a professional land surveyor and is responsible for representing the county in boundary disputes. When authorized by the Board of County Commissioners, the Surveyor conducts surveys of county property including rights-of-way. Term of office is four years.

As a native son with deep family roots in Moffat County, it is an honor to come before you today and re-affirm my commitment to service. It was my privilege to serve our community for 9 years as Fire Chief on the Maybell Fire Department and Volunteer Ambulance, and the last 2 years as your County Surveyor. As an alumni of the University of Colorado, and the Colorado School of Mines with over 46 years of experience in the profession of Land Surveying, licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in 1986 and holding Certification as a BLM registered Cadastral Surveyor, I come requesting your endorsement for re-election.
