I’m running for Fremont County Commissioner to bring transparent, accountable, and practical leadership to our community. With an MBA in Economics and experience in consulting, staffing, and operations management, I’ve managed budgets, improved efficiency, and made data-driven decisions.
As commissioner, I would bring that same discipline to county finances, taxpayer stewardship, and long-term planning for Fremont County, with a focus on transparent, responsible government.
I believe the first step is not asking taxpayers for more, but making sure current dollars are spent wisely. County government should prioritize essential services, eliminate waste, and improve accountability and transparancy. If additional revenue is truly necessary, I would support only limited, transparent approaches tied to specific public needs and measurable results, while protecting taxpayers and keeping government as efficient and limited as possible.
The top priorities for Fremont County Commission should be those areas most directly tied to the county’s core responsibilities and where residents feel the impact first.
• Roads and infrastructure — maintain the county’s basic transportation network and public facilities.
• Budget discipline, honest governance and transparency — control spending, protect taxpayers, and make every dollar easy to track.
• Core public safety and essential services — support law enforcement, emergency response, and other duties the county is clearly responsible for.
I would keep county government focused on its core functions and resist mission creep into areas better handled by individuals, families, nonprofits, or the private sector.
