Every public school district is governed by a local school board, elected by members of their school district. Every year elections are held to fill school board positions for individuals who have completed their 3-yr term of service. This year elections will be held on Tuesday, May 19th., 12:00 noon - 8:00 p.m., in the Large Gym Foyer of the Main Building (711 Railroad Street, DeRuyter, NY). There will be a Public Budget Hearing of the DeRuyter Central School District on Tuesday, May 12th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Library/Media Center.
