Water Control & Improvement Director, District 96
Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 96 (WCID 96) is a local government district that provides water, wastewater, and drainage services to the Fall Creek community in unincorporated Harris County. The District is responsible for your water supply, sewer system, stormwater management, and trash collection — and sets the rates you pay for those services. It is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected by residents within the district. Directors oversee district operations, manage budgets, set water and wastewater rates, and ensure the community's infrastructure is maintained. Only voters who live within the district's boundaries are eligible to vote in this race.
