County council may provide funding for one or more associate probate judges who are appointed by the probate judge. A probate judge administers the estates of deceased persons, issues marriage licenses, appoints guardians and conservators for minor and incapacitated persons and hears trust and estate litigation.

I am running for Probate Judge because this is work I have deliberately prepared for throughout my career. Probate Court handles some of the most sensitive moments in people’s lives—loss, guardianship, and protection of vulnerable individuals—and I believe it requires both compassion and strong legal judgment. I want to serve Lexington County with fairness, efficiency, and professionalism. I was born here, raised here, schooled here, lived here, worked here, and am raising a family here. Lexington County has always been my home, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve the community that has given me so much.
One of the primary challenges is ensuring timely case resolution while maintaining careful attention to detail. Delays can create real hardship for families. I would prioritize efficient case management, clear communication, and accessibility while maintaining the high standards the court requires.
Integrity, fairness, and respect. I am committed to upholding these foundational principles. This is a role which is centered on public trust, and I take that responsibility seriously.
