• Economic development and job creation — especially attracting emerging industries like AI and robotics to diversify our economy and build lasting prosperity. • Fiscal responsibility and government efficiency — including pension reform, managed competition, and eliminating wasteful spending so we can stop raising fees and taxes on working families. • Neighborhood revitalization and affordable housing — with a strong focus on Southeast San Diego. I will prioritize transit-oriented density along trolley corridors, the Imperial Avenue Transformation, and policies that create jobs, housing, and opportunity while preventing displacement.
My qualification is not a long political résumé or insider connections; it is deep, firsthand knowledge of the challenges facing District 4 and a proven commitment to putting community first. For years I have worked directly with residents on issues ranging from neighborhood revitalization and economic opportunity to holding City Hall accountable for wasteful spending and broken promises.

Unlike career politicians, I own no businesses, accept no special-interest money, and have never been part of the status quo that created our current problems. I bring fresh vision, practical innovation, and the discipline to make tough choices. Governance requires the same expertise, talent, and sacrifice as any skilled profession — and I have dedicated my life to empowering others to put the community above self-interest.

My platform is grounded in results: creating thousands of high-paying jobs through an AI/Robotics Technology Center, cutting waste to restore fiscal responsibility, and launching a bold Imperial Avenue Revitalization Plan that will transform Southeast San Diego. I am running because District 4 and our city deserve leadership that delivers opportunity, safety, and prosperity — not more of the same.

One clear example is my plan to establish a dedicated AI/Robotics Technology Center in San Diego.

Long-term challenge addressed: Our city’s dangerous lack of economic diversification. San Diego remains overly reliant on the military, tourism, and biotech. This leaves us vulnerable to downturns and limits high-quality job opportunities for the next generation. The AI/Robotics Center will attract cutting-edge companies, generate thousands of high-paying jobs, expand the tax base, and create sustainable new revenue streams for decades to come.

Immediate crises addressed at the same time: The center will deliver quick wins on budget gaps (new revenue without tax increases), homelessness and poverty (local jobs reduce pressure on social services), and neighborhood revitalization (tying directly into the expanded Imperial Avenue Plan to bring economic vitality to Southeast San Diego right away).

While responding to today’s crises — unsustainable pensions, wasteful spending, trash fees, and housing shortages — I will use the office to build the industries of tomorrow. This dual focus ensures we solve today’s problems without mortgaging our future.
